CareControl is a comprehensive database system designed specifically for childcare agencies to streamline the processing tasks of provider payments, family fees, and management of child care service related paper documents, as well as generating extensive data reports.
CareControl provides a case management tool for agencies to allow them to focus on more important aspects of their operation to provide quality childcare service instead of paperwork processing.
CareControl applies series of fully configurable eligibility, schedule, payment rules to accurately determine family fee, service eligibility, authorizing care schedules, and calculating provider payments.
CareControl provides case managers with a set of tools to track all interactions taken place with providers, family, external agencies, even internally. A complete case history view can be accessed with a few mouse clicks.
Care Hours can be configured in much flexible way to accommodate the most complicated schedule requirement. System verifies care hours based on Children and Family activities to ensure only necessary care services are provided to the recipients.
Based on the care hour configuration, CareControl automatically generates Provider Sign In/Out timesheets for attendance and tracking and payment authorization. For automated attendance tracking, please see CareAttendance for more information.
To ensure the data integrity and address the rising security concerns, there are number of security features built into CareControl which ensure your organization's information is safe, secure and accessible only by authorized parties.
CareControl enables administrator to determine user's specific security clearance levels, thus restricting access to data from within the system
CareControl uses user name and password controls to restrict access to authorized parties only, strong password and password cycling can be enforced through configuration by administrator.
CareControl can be configured to perform full audit trail on the entire system to track who creates, updates or deletes what data and when. Reports can be generated to view who changed what in the system from what value to what value and when the change was made.
CareControl operates on Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (standard edition for large agency operation or desktop engine for small agency operation). Application is developed using C# in Microsoft’s latest .NET framework. All reports are written with latest Crystal Report XI. Because of its true relational database structure and object-oriented system design with 3-tier architecture, the system itself can be customized easily to adopt various changes required from each implementation.
Using true relational database as the foundation to store information, CareControl is suitable for any deployment scenario. For large agency with multiple sites and many concurrent users accessing the system, we recommend Microsoft SQL Server standard edition, for smaller agency we can provide CareControl based on Microsoft SQL Desktop Engine (MSDE).
CareControl adopts standard Windows-based software application user interface. It is designed to create a user-friendly experience by integrating user’s daily windows operation preference into the program. User only needs minimum training effort to get started with CareControl.
CareConrol benefits greatly from its object-oriented development methodology and 3-tier design concept, which makes the system flexible and open for future modification and customization based on user requirement with ease while ensuring the integrity of the system.
For reporting, all user data can be extracted by users to create ad-hoc reports by using standard reporting tools, such as Crystal Report, Access…etc. We can also offer custom report development service based on each agency’s requirements.
